Professional Bio

After graduating from Texas Tech in 1983, Craig became a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in Chicago where he traded financial futures and options as a floor trader.  He moved back to Dallas in 1985 to become a foreign exchange and bond trader for First Republic Bank. In 1988, backed by two former Dallas Mayors, he started a Commodity Trading Advisor (hedge fund) to trade world commodity and financial markets.  In 1993, he joined Abraham trading Company in Canadian, TX and helped that company become a top Commodity Trading Advisor globally.  In 1998, he joined Liberty Funds Group in Lubbock, TX.  After becoming CEO, he opened offices for the company in Dallas, Chicago, New York, and Bogota, Colombia. In 2015, he moved to Midland, TX to join RBC Wealth Management’s largest team in North America as an Investment Advisor.  In 2018, he joined Inductive Inference Technology, a forward-thinking risk management firm, as its President.  In 2022, he and his son Corbin joined forces with Scott, Charlie, and Holly to create Burford Caudle Family Capital as a division of Burford Brothers.  Forty-two years in the investment world have gone by fast.  Craig is grateful for the relationships he has built, the experience he has gained, and the opportunity to serve his clients.  Onward!


Personal Bio

Craig grew up in Dallas and graduated from St. Marks in 1979.  Craig graduated from Texas Tech University in 1983 with a B.S. degree in International Trade and a minor in Spanish.  Craig met his wife Cindi at Texas Tech in Lubbock.  They were married in 1984 and have two adult children, Alli (married to Andy Bush) and Corbin (married to Margaret Betencourt).  Craig and Cindi have one grandchild, Casey Lawrence Caudle.  Craig and Cindi have moved around a bit… They have lived in Dallas three times (on their third now), Chicago twice, and in Canadian, Lubbock, and Midland, Texas.  Cindi has declared that there will be no more moves.  Wherever they have lived, Craig and Cindi have been involved with the church and currently attend Highland Park Presbyterian.  Craig speaks Spanish and currently serves on the board of Crosswater Ministries, a mission focused organization supporting churches in Cuba.  Craig has an Ausie Shepard named Gus.  He loves Texas Tech Football. He has run 5 marathons (2 in his 30s, 1 in his 40s, 2 in his 50s, 1 in his 60s). He used to be decent at Golf.  He loves open ranch land and the ocean.  He knows all 417 of Jimmy Buffet's songs.
